I am fixing a steering column on a 87 chev silverado. I was wonderg if the steering wheel puller will install the wheel as well or will I need another tool for that. The same question applies to the lock plate removal tool. I have never taken apart a column before and was wondering what to look out for while doing this. Any help would be great!

To reinstall, just put the wheel on and tighten the nut the same number of turns as it took to take it off (helps to put a mark on the nut/threads with a marker or something). The lock plate puller isn't needed to reinstall the lockplate, but it does make it much easier.
