I did a search and read the threads, but still didn't find what I am looking for.

My 54 came with a really cool steering wheel that's falling apart. It wasn't stock.

What steering wheels will fit and where did you get them? Looking for something different than stock, and keeps the look of 50's era. Something with a horn ring and less than stock 18" diameter wheel would be nice.

Do you know which horn rings will fit with stock steering wheel?

    Pictures are much appreciated! Thanks!

    I'm running a 55 chevy 210, splines right up.
I believe most chevys up to the early 60s used the same splines, the exact cutoff year I do not know.

I tested the original steering wheel out of my 1950 pick-up on a non-tilt, floor-shift column out of a 1971-2 Chevy pick-up and the splines matched on it as well.

    You're in luck ! .

Generous Motors Corporation in their wisdom decided to use the same splines and threads on millions of vehicles so mostly all you needs do is test fit it .

Those " Butterfly " AD staaeri9ng wheels are huge and gaudy , still made new , very popular with the Low Riders who have so much color and chrome on their beautiful trucks .

    As I too like horn 1/2 rings , I'm considering a '59 or '60 Chevy Impala steering wheel for my '69 C/10 .
