stock door latches

    can you use a keyless entry system on your stock latches and how can it be done:confused::confused:

    Jut install a solenoid or a power lock cylander to the latch trip mechanism via a cable or a linkage. You may even be able to piggyback it onto the handle rods. This will pop the doors open for shaved handles. If you want to just lodk and unlock, you would have to piggyback to the inside handle linkage and set it up to push/ pull to engage the lock (assuming, unlike mine, that your locks do engage.)

    As he said , use a solenoid , if you run it through a bellcrank , the solenoid will have better action and not wear as fast .
