I have a complete stroker kit for a 305 still in the box, along with heads, intake, headers, 650 holley carb, and 305 block. I'm looking to sell everything either as parts or take all, $1,100.00 for everything!! If interested please reply. (stroker kit will also work for 350, as long as you switch pistons)

Can you give me some more info on a 305 stroker? I've heard of a 383 stroker.... ????

The 305 stroker, (335 stroker), is basically the same set up as a 383 stroker. It uses a 400 crank, with 5.7 rods, just like the 383. The only difference is the size of the pistons that the 305 stroker uses. The displacement turns out to be 335. I have built a 335 stroker for a friend who had a 305 in his camaro. The engine had 10:1 compression, with 64 cc 305 heads. It had well over 380 hp, as well as over 390 ft/lbs. I've heard using 350 heads would preform even better. It's an awesome combo. 305 engines are very reliable and great economical engines as it is. Like I have mentioned before, I have built a 335 stroker for my friends camaro. He has yet to have any kind of problems, and is very satisfied with the performance that it has. I drove his car before I put the engine in for him, and then after I put the stroker in. And man was there a difference! Converting the 305 to a 335 doesn't hurt the reliability. But it does increase the performance that the engine puts out.
