Anyone have sugestions for exhaust headers? Ones that fit a 350 Chevy engine in a 59 Apache with a stock frame? Shorties vs full tube, block hugers and brands that hold up?

My son's birthday is 01/01/85, we spend the day working on my 1959 removing motor and transmission. Then had lunch as a family unit. :D

I am looking for headers too. I put in a search on Summit's site and they have quite the selection. It just depends on how much $ you want to spend.

I would be interested to know how well they work with the stock stearing box. Let me know when you find out.

I'm rebuilding 57 1/2 ton with a 350 crate motor.with heddman headers.this worked out well with the toyota power steering gear box.only had to raise the motor a 1/2" to clear a fitting. Up graded the kit from c c p and that was a piece of cake. I have some pictures soon.

Im using 8x15 rallye style wheels with plenty of clearance. the rotors work with the existing hub assembly with an upgrade on the wheel bearings.I believe the rotors are 11" or 12" in diameter.
