Wiring problem. Have determined the following. 66 chevy truck with 327 in it. I have the factory tail light that worked with turn and park, but not stop. I have other stop light I want to do away and make the factory work. Found 4 wire together from the front and they run the following. Yellow - Left turn Dark Green - Right turn Brown - tail light light green appears to be dead Red - new wire (single) is stop light. My factory light has Left side 2 brown and 1 yellow. I know the yellow is to yellow and the brown is to the brown for tail light and the other brown goes to license plate blub. Right side has 1 brown and 1 green. Green to green from front and brown to brown for tail light. Ok how do I get the stop light wired back in? we tried to put the brown and red together but did not work. any help would be appreciated. thanks
