I am weighing my options as far as building up my existing 350 or dropping in a new crate motor. Anyway, my question is if I end up with 400+ hp, are there any "weak" areas I need to be concerned with (rear end, drive shaft, suspension, etc.)?

The entire driveline will have to be stronger. Tranny, Rear Diff, u-joints, Motor and Tranny Mounts. Most vehicles, when you go to a higher horsepower motor, the weakness will always show first. if there is a weakness. Are you running a automatic or standard.... if standard than the clutch should be upgraded as well.
