I needed some parts for my 1980 Cadillac S & S Victoria Hearse so I toddled off to Pick-A-Part to-day and found some nice Suburbans in the truck section , one had the hard to find resettable trip odometer speedo option ~ I'da grabbed it but it was one of those FUGLY MPH / KPH abortions .
Instead I settled for a nice set of door window Vent Shades with the correct screws and a near perfect dash lens , I've been unable to polish out all the scratches from the last one I bought plus it had a broken ear , not visible but I knew it was there so....
I also scored some under dash courtesy lamps , this Ranch truck is a total base model and so only has one in the middle of the heater plenums , I like well illuminated footwells .
Other small detail things like the _metal_ back plate for the heater control , GM realized the cheapo plastic tape ones wrinkled and looked awful so they went to painted aluminum sheet in '83 or so .
More ' Just So ' hardware and speed nuts ,clips and so on .
