The thermostat housring on my 230 six is cracked. This is the part that bolts to the motor, and the thermostat rests on top. It has a threaded port on the side for the temperature sending unit. Specifically, I split the threaded port where the temerature sending unit screws in - either taking the sender out or replacing it. Now it leaks coolant under pressure. Now I am looking for a replacement. Are the housings for a 230 and a 292 interchangeable? What about a 250? Do you know someone who carries this part?
