The switch shown here has two connections one (G) and one (R). The (G) is tested to be grounded to the housing of the switch. The second (R) goes where? it's a temperature switch to activate at 180 deg, I cant remember is this must be breaking the hot side of the circuit or actives the relay? I am having one of those moments. Can’t remember $hit!

I am trying to have this switch activate my electrical fan….. I feel bad but I am taking in air!

I would say that the "R" terminal go's to the ground side of the relay so that when the engine get's up to temp. it completes the ground and activates the relay that makes the fan go on. Big Tim
