my 1953 truck has original throttle and choke knobs.. the throttle cable was to short to connect to carb so i never hooked it up. any way i decided to purchace new throttle and choke cable assemblies from our host so i could finally get it all hooked up and working.. bought both just to be sure both matched in case there were minor differences from the original knobs.

just recieved them.. actually i am disappointed in them, they are quite a bit different than the original knobs.. the original knobs have a rounded top face. the after markets are basically flat. both same style polished metal with plastic c or T cut out.

anyone else have this problem, or know where i can order new asseblies that match original..?

maybe i can just switch the knobs... but they look like factory installed on both.. so would probably end up wrecking both the new and original assemblies.

Welcome to the re-pop world from china, I have replaced a lot of the china clipper parts with used when I can find them. Other wise I use them as far as they last then buy another re-pop.
I'm out looking now for some tail lights not made in china.
