I checked my repair manuals (only had specs for early 60's cars, but I think these would be very close for your truck also.) Point gap is 0.19"; dwell 31-34 degrees; spark plug gap is .035"; Ignition timing ranges from TDC to 4 degrees BTDC. I know this isn't as specific as you would like, but until someone else responds, I think this should get you on the road.

    THANKS!
    You've been a huge help.

After a while of cranking, the ol' gal turned over, sputtered and came to life. first time since 1984), Set the timing to TDC and she purrs like a kitten. Ok, ok, an old, oil burning, smoke up the entire neighborhood kitten, but nonetheless!

I even got to take her for a trip around the block. Took care of the mosquitos for the weekend.+

    You were a lifesaver
