Well Ken this must be a great place for these old trucks. There is a guy by the name of Malcolm Stevenson that you need to get a hold of and go check out his ride. He made the Feb issue of Classic Trucks with his 54 chevy rebuild. He's a man after my own heart with the C5 corvette engine in it. It really does look like a neat truck, so get over there and make friends with him so we can all pic his brain about the things he did to his.

The reason that I made this a thread instead of a PM to Ken is because this really is a nice looking truck and thought everyone may want to check it out. The other thing that caught my eye with this is because it looked like a father son rebuild, so that made this truck look a little more special to me.

Pretty cool write up. I'll definitively be on the lookout for that truck! I've seen at least 5 or 6 AD's tooling around the greater Tomball area in the past 6 months. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that there are a few of them hanging in my 'hood.

....Is a pretty big place , where in Texas is Tomball

I pretty much only know West Texas , still a wide open place , very nice if you like solitude , old narrow roads and pickup trucks.... :p

Tomball is just northwest of Houston. Basically just another suburb of h-town.
