Does anyone know what the torque specs are for the U-bolts that attach the rear axle to the leaf springs. In my auto manual...it says to tighten U-bolts to the specified torque. Usually the listings are in the beginning of the section, but I couldn't find anything about the rear axle U-bolts. If anyone could tell me, that would be great. Or if you can direct me to a site that has all the torque specs, that would be even better. Thanks for the help
found this in chilton's manual under leaf spring removal and installation: 'the following torques are necessary: U-bolts to 150 ft. lbs., spring shackle 50 ft. lbs., front eye bolt 90 ft. lbs, rear eye bolt 50 ft. lbs.' hope this helps. Craig
