transfer case

Hi. everyone; I'ts been a while since I last posted I have a problem with my transfer case its leaking oil from the u joints also around the gasket area I would like to fix it but I have never done this before, I also read an article that says my transfer case uses automatic transmission fluid is that true? I have NP208 model any information would be helpful. Thank you.

yup, atf.

you wil need to empty the case to do the front, if you dont do it into a bucket now, you will do it onto your drive way and shirt later.

the rear is just a matter of pulling the slip yoke out and prying th seal off, you will leakl an insignificant amount from the rear.

Thank you 2tons of fun, I'll take your advise, I'm going to start working on it this weekend, but I still wonder about what type of fluid I should use?
