hey guys im working on a 1950 GMC pickup and I just got a 228 for it some one had put a 235 with a 4-speed and my questions will the 4-speed work on the 228?
Tranny Choices Probably so , I'm guessing you have the Muncie SM420 tranny , count the splines on the input shaft . Posting some decent pictures of it here will help too . I have a spare free Muncie SM465 tranny if you need it .
