I'm in the midst of rewiring my '58 and have most of the dash complete. I have a new turn signal switch, a new turn signal wiring harness, and my truck has the optional turn signal hub. I took apart the old setup, cleaned the old parts and put in a new switch, reversing the proceedure. However, the springs seem "tired" and I don't really see any action taking place when I flip the lever (please note that the truck is not ready for a battery yet). Does anyone have any instructions on how to configure the turn signal hub? How does the cancel cam fit in? I would love to get detailed pictures if you have them. Thanks in advance, Tim Bleeker http://www.road-king.com/58chevy
RE: Turn Signal Switch and HUB - Ho mine is tired too,and i bought a new(nos) signal cup assembly to replace the whole mess.I have seen rebuilt units and I have also seen the platform itself for sale separately(the part with the springs).E-bay is a constant source for weird nos stuff that shows up from time to time.
