I have Yankee Model 960 add on turn signals on my 54 everything works with the exception of the indicator light on the turn signal assembly. This is a 4 wire unit and the yellow wire is not hooked up which after taking the unit apart this is the wire going to the lamp. Can someone tell me where this wire needs to go so that it will burn when the turn signal is in use?

    Needs voltage

In order to get my turn signal indicators to work I had to run the hot wire on its own circuit. Most folks would likely run it to the ignition where it would light up with the key.

I ran mine to a fuse and a toggle. I have turn indicators at times when I want these. Otherwise I watch the charge needle on my amp gauge swing back and forth when when my turn signals are on.

Works for me, likely to cause a riot in California.

I have an toggle switch also. If you need the flashers on without the key on you can do so.

    Indicator Lamp

Connect it to the _output_ side of the flasher and it should work fine .
