So a few weeks ago at a local car meet, where they just have a standing Friday evening show, I met a super nice gentlemen that had what he said was my trucks twin. So of course the next Friday we both showed up in the old trucks and parked together. His is a 49 Chevy lowered a tad and is a 1/2 ton. Put a clear coat on it and you would have basically the same Patina. It was a blast. The looks of all the people there were great. To see basically the same truck in Chevy and GMC Version's
