I would like to put a 54 model 235 in my 57 panel . The 54 engine does not have the places for the motor mount brackets to bolt up . However, there are two holes in the 57 crossmember that appear to be in the right place for the 54 model mount , which was under the plate that mounts behind the timing cover . Anybody done this swap before ? Wonder why the holes are there ,from the factory and not used ? Thanks
