Ok, I have a 64 Chevy truck that orig had a 230 straight 6 with 3 on the tree tranny. I recently modified it and dropped in a 305 with a 350 turbo auto tranny. I have no idea how to modify the linkage to the carburator, since the original (made for a more centered carb location of s6)doesn't lign up. I have the original rear end in the pickup. On the highway, I can't go much faster than 60mph without feeling like the engine is gonna blow! The rpm's are running really high. Do I need a new rear end or tranny? Basically, I need some carb/transmission advice.
Thanks, }>
