Hope this hasn't been beaten to death & archived. What are y'all doing to stretch the life of valves/seats running unleaded fuel? I know the right way is to have the valves & seats replaced w/ stellite & other space-age parts & that 80% + of '72 up heads have the "good parts" in them. I've gotten old enough that restoration is more agreeable than hot-rodding, so the original parts are more attractive. Big machine shop bills means getting a J-O-B (I retired from GM 3 years ago). Right now I'm running Marvel Mystery Oil in my ol' Harley with decent results. I'm just curious whether anyone has found a superior product or some re-popped heads worth the coin? Thanks! I'm hunting a '64-'66 big back window w/ original p/s, p/b, & a/c presently, but am finding them few, far away, & mostly rusted.
