This last weekend I finally tackled the vent window rebuild.
Things went great until I went to rivet the vent window to the frame.
The rivets supplied to rebuild were to small. The original rivet seems to have a shoulder.
Where do I get that type of rivet?
    Thanks

Are you shure you used the vent pivot rivet and not one of the smaller rubber vertical strip rivets? I have not had that problem. Call Dave's truck parts in Claremont, nc, he can have it to you next day if you don't want to take a ride up to see him.

when you buy a rivet kit, should you be getting two rivets that are different than the rest of them??
My kit had a bunch of rivets that were all the same and the rivet setter.
I got my kit from obsolete chevy parts.

Yes, there should be 2 rivets that are larger and have a bit of a shoulder on them.
