Very Rare1964 Chevy 18' Motor Home -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a very rare factory built 1964 C-20 open road motor home. I bought this a long time ago with intensions on restoring it but my wife wants a newer one so we got one. If I remember right this is a two owner motor home and I'm the second owner. The original family bought the 64 back in 1965. This is a rare 3/4 ton with single rear wheels not the 1 ton dually type. It's 18' bumper to bumper. It was made in California. I have seen a few 1 ton dually 20' motor homes but this is the smallest one I've seen. The original 283 went bad and was replaced with a 350 V-8. It's a factory 4sp with power brakes. New dual exhaust, tires and wheels. Cab is in real good shape. The hood was replaced and is rust free. I have 2 rust free fenders a new chrome front bumper and nice original aluminum grill. The interior is clean. My wife and I have camped in it several time and will keep camping in it until it's sold. The upper bunk has some dry rot in the corners like all old campers and motor homes have. I've sealed all the seams and have not noticed any leaks for over a year. This still has a clean dry smell inside. This is a rare and fun little motor home and a great investment fixed up.
