vin number

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Sep-20-01 AT 11:48 PM (CST)]hey guys i am new to this cool chevy site, i have a 1973 chevy K5 blazer, and there is no vin plate on the driver side door? there are numbers on the top left frame rail in the engine compartment. I was hoping someone can tell me where there are other vin numbers on it. thank you

Check the edge of the driver's door & in the glovebox.
The 67-72 had the option list in the glovebox. I'm not sure about the later ons, but I'm sure that someone else will.

Did you check under the dash pad at the front edge of the windshield sort of in front of and left of the steering wheel 78 6.5 fleet 350(454 coming soon) sm465 np205 14 bolt 3/4 ton 4x4
