vin numbers

hey guys i have a 73 blazer that i just replaced the transmission in and i don't have any plates on it yet because i can't find the vin number on it. there is nothing on the door or the glove box, there is a number on the top left frame rail in the enigine compartment, but i was wondering where the other vin numbers are on it, thank you

You will have to contact the Highway Patrol,and get them to check it out.They then can reissue a VIN plate.

yea but isn't the vin number in other places on the truck? somewhere on the chassis?
