Hey Nate - good story in Vintage Truck.

That's just the right place to get the message across to lots of people who run these trucks with no seat belts and flaky door locks.

I too have had a door swing open... it was a slow corner, I was the only one in the cab, there was nothing on the seat and I was holding the wheel, so no harm. But it was truly scary.

Now we have belts, and we use them and they're bolted to the floor not the frame.

Yes, great letter Nate. I learned early on (40 years ago) to always push forward on the inside handle, but I went ahead and installed belts (3 point) and will never regret it.
    Safe travels to all,
    Terry

    Saftey Knows No Season !

I was P.O.'d as my old timey lunch box was ruined and I never did find everything that flew out but most of all , I thought " what if that had been SWMBO or my son ? "

How could I live with myself after that ? .

So , I purchased and installed lap belts and NO ONE rides unless securely buckled up :D .
