Ken's 50 pickup sent me a PM asking about Wallace Wade Antique Tires and I can't figure out how to answer back. Hopefully some of my friends kids will come by and show the way. It's a bummer to be so computer dumb.
I don't know Wallace other than to say hello to at swap meets or at the North Texas Region AACA events. He does support the club with both his time and contingency items like door prizes. He carries a large inventory of both original and radial clones of the antique tread patterns. I have had a set of 8.25/15 bias ply tires on my 37 Buick from him ( Sears Brand) that have never given any trouble for 15 years so I don't know about any warranty issues. One would think if there is a pattern of service or warranty problems it would have been revealed in the last 15 or 20 years because the old car/truck people are good about exposing ripoff artists. Not much help I guess but about all I know about this subject.

Thanks Evan. Appreciate the info. I ran Sears tires on my 48 coupe. Actually bought them from Sears in 1972, 3"WW and all!

    Very Good !

It is always beneficial to have multiple vendors of the same commodities .

I'd like to remind all again that using radials is the smart thing to do both from a safety viewpoint as well as longer life , better driving ' fell 'with vastly less steering effort etc.

Perhaps someone could post up a link to this vendor's Web Site or catalog ? .
