Hello. New to the board. Looks like a great resource. I'm excited about restomodding a 57 shortbox stepside (just getting started). It'll be a tight budget project. I BELIEVE IN USING WRECKER/USED PARTS before spending on kits, etc. Have decided to do a Volare front clip, it seems to be the cheapest, and easiest way to go. I'm still gathering other info and want suggestions/donors for the following: steering column (?tilt), gas tank under the bed, tank options?fill options?,?newer style gas door?, late model radiator options, what brake booster/master cylinder/pedal donor best to use?, modern rear tailight options?, 3pt. seatbelt donor?, ?replace outside door handles with newer flush mount style? donor? Planning a mild 350 or 305 with an overdrive transmission. What year/models have 700r4 or 200r4 trannys? Also if I use the Volare's rearend am I going to be able to find better gears for it to match with the od tranny. Does the Volare rear have a changeable center chunk? Wow, that's a lot of questions! I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions or any other mods you think I might want to consider. Thanks, Murray
