wanted for a 1951 216 engine

    looking for a good used 6 volt starter off a 216 would like to have one that came off a running engine .

    I have one that came off a 235. Don't know if it works or not or if it will work for your 216 or not. Not sure if the 216 and 235 6 volt starters are the same or not. You can have it for shipping costs. If it doesn't work, you can always have it rebuilt for cheap. I am sure someone will chime in if it will work for you. Let me know.

    It's The Same

    The tooth count is what changes with 12 volts , not the engine size .
