[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jul-27-05 AT 11:37 PM (CST)]283 engine back in and in process of putting everything back togehter and found out that generator pulley does not line up with water pump and crank pulley. Don't get it. I have replaced the water pump # 3782608 which was a short neck. and put a new harmonic balancer with a double pulley.(match to original, however the gen is off.The gen lines up with 2nd pulley on the crank(it was installed left side on exhaust manifold. everything by the book
I screwed something up.
where would yet get a water pump pulley to fit . or do you put a longer neck waterpump to fit. or what
