Weird hinges

I'm trying to adjust my the hinges on my '77 blazer but it wont let me. From what I can see, one of the bolts on the bottom hinge starts behind a backing plate inside the piller and is treaded into the hinge. What I'm trying to figure out is how to get to that bolt.

It sounds like your try to move the hinge on the piler and not the door side. To get the other bolts you would have to take dash and kick panel out to make it eaierget at. but if your ajusting the door hinges so the door lines up good or closes good ajust the hinges on the door side not the piler side.
