I've got to share this with ya'll! What a day I had! I've talked with Thunder54 via the "PM" for quite a while. We finally agreed on a time to meet! We picked a place half way between me and him. A little town called Liberty, Tx, 56 miles from me and 56 miles from him. High noon! Sounds like a cheap western, huh? We get there about 5 minutes apart, me in my '01 Tahoe, Jim in Thunder 54. We have our most awesome "significant others" with us. We meet at the court house. Liberty, btw is Pop. 5800 plus or minus. No problem finding a parking space "on the square". Have lunch at an awesome burger joint on the square. Retire to the park benches. Ladies decide that they need to explore and hit the "Antique" joints. Jim and I sit on the park benches and commence to tell "stories". In the meantime, a group of bikers come over and check out Thunder54. My very astute wife says, "Geez, no one's looking at our truck, just Jim and Lynn's!" So, I married a comedian! To make a long story longer, I had a great time today, just BS'ing with a fellow enthusiest! I went from being a young lad in my granddad's garage to being a learned old geezer, depending on "who had the floor'! You guys do the same! It's way cool! Jim, thanks for the day!
