    I have mine where I want it as far as looks go. But, there will be another and it will look a lot like Flipper's truck. I don't know if I will go the same route with suspension and such but the outside will be similar.

    Well...

    Jon, I hope your truck looks better than what I see! All I see is a little box with a red "X" in the middle of it. If that's what you want, go for it:D

    Sometimes, I hate computers. Maybe I can see the picture tomorrow morning on my office computer!

    One neat thing about what we do is that no matter what we do to our trucks, there will be someone who says "Wow, that's cool!" Then there will be someone who says "Yuck, why would he do that?"

    I'm just tickled that there are so many people out in cyberland who still think that working on old trucks and sharing their experiences with others is cool!!

    Me too, but I didn't want to admit that I'm a dummy. But I'll settle for being a dummy anytime that Ken is in that same category.

    No Pic !

    Hi John ;

    Everyone has a different idea of what it'd ideally look like , I'd love to see yours .

    My ideal would be to not see any rust on the underside of my cab's floor.....:p

    Please re-post the picture and keep up the good work ! .

    stupid computers. it did something with the color. looks weird in the big photo, but the little one looks right. of course, you guys probably will just see an "x". oh well.

    what you should see is a dark earthy green and tan two-tone paint job and red steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and red pinstriping around the cab and custom lettering on the door. should be cool when i get it to that point in 25 or 30 years!!

    Hey Jon,

    Just the red "X" again. Maybe the file size is too large. Try reducing it. I forget what the limit is, but that's probably it.

    Hmmm

    I'd add a yellow stripe between the red and white, and of course I'd put some wheels and tires on it.

    (This could be fun! Kinda' like "The Emperor's New Clothes"!)

    Gallery pictures can be HUGE. Check the size of the stuff I've put there. It must be the format. (?)

    Sweeeeeet dreams....

    So you'd be like the guy in "The Fastest Indian"? That should make GREAT gas mileage with the tow strap and all.

    STILL No Pic !

    Oh well ;

    I'm on SWMBO's 'puter but still no joy . :(

    I'm nearly dead , I want to Sylmar this morning to help drag a long dormant 1956 Chrysler Imperial with HEMI & remote Air Conditioning (in the trunk no less !) out of a back yard all full of old cars , the '37 Chevy 2 door sedan's battery was dead so I had to push that too , the brakes on the Chisler were poor , got it running (HEMI sounds sweet !) and up on the trailer . Greg couldn't crawl out the window (he's younger & skinnier than I) began hollering as it was 102° F and the car is black , got pretty hot in there ,so he baCKED IT OFF THE TRAILER , I DROVE IT back ON AND CRAWLED OUT THE PASSENGER SIDE WINdOW (OOPS) , we got it chained down and he went off to Tehachipi and I went off to wrestle with SWMBO's Toyletta Corroded (check engine light , EGR modulator & solenoid) then my old Mercedes Diesel Coupe's AC servo and on and on......

    I think Greg nearly got heat stroke , that's no joke .

    Whew ! . The smoking lamp is lit gentlemen ! ;)

    :D

    I like it! Nice playground you have there!
    A good way to help "see" what it could look like.
