I can't seem to find any reliable information on the actual weight of a 1983 C10 Silverado. I need to tow this truck and want to be sure I am not overloading the tow vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.
Did you check the glove box to see if it's there or the driver door should be a sticker there in one of those places that has that info. If it's gone then Well it should be less then 5280 lbs that what my 77 2 wheel drive long bed GMC 1/2 Ton with a 9' steel flat bed 81-87 front clip 350 to 400lbs lighter then 73-80, 454 motor 750lbs, 350 motor 550lbs that year should have a 10 bolt diff witch is about 50-80lbs lighter then 12 bolt.
