What kind of oil need the differential?

    Hello,
    I'm restoring a PU 3600. What kind of oil needs the differential?
    Should it be:
    a) SAE 90 multi purpose oil
    b) SAE 90 hypoid oil

    Final Drive Oil

    Hypoid oil is what it wants .

    Synthetic is fine , I'm using GL5 85W-90 for many years now .

    In the trannsmission too .
