I'm riding a 3600 pick up and realized that her front fenders are different. I demand to know which one is correct. Could anyone help me?

    I would venture a guess.

My guess is the wider fender is from a 1 1/2 or 2 ton truck Those are wider than 1/2 thru 1 ton fenders to accommodate the wider tires.

    Stump Find Fender!

That is what I call a Stump Find Fender! There is nothing wrong with the fender...it is the same one...just a different view. I have had a few of those. I have also had the similar one for a few back fenders and even a running board splash guard(which is hard to do).

Let me explain...in the years inbetween, when I was frustrated with my poor beautiful pickup, it would end up going to the ranch and used there...and I mean used! In winter, or even dry summer days, doing ranch work I would whack a stump in some deep snow or whip up a branch to end up biting me...a few weeks later I would realize that I hit that stump and thus the different looking fender. I have done this many a time...

Then, in other years, I crawl back to the city with the pickup...I would straighten it out and the rest is history! I have done this a few times over and over again.

The bigger fender that has different dimensions...I think even the distance from the edge of the light to the grill is like 2 inches off.

It just shows you have a genuine original and very rare....Stump Finder!

(sorry, I have no pics right now of one proving it found something...I am currently not frustrated with my 48, ha ha)
