    Hi to all,

    I'm new to the forum.
I just got my 2nd 65 chevy truck, the last one was wrecked into a phone poll( those are some tough SOB's) and I finally got it together to get a nother one. I want to get an new set of tires and white wagon whell rims, I loved that look on the old one, but I'm not sure what size would fit / look best, 15"-16" rims how wide and what size tire? photos showing what looks good on yours would be great too

    Thanks

I have some factory mid 80's white spokes off a blazer that are 15x8" with some cooper cobra 255/70/15 tires on them and they work nice. These tires are a little taller than stock 235/75/15 by about 2" which is nice with the 3.73 gears, it runs 70mph at about 3000rpm.
I dont think you can really go much wider without some cutting, I have about 1/2" on each side of the tire in the rear.
    Good luck, coby
