Im customizing my 64 and thinking of puting in a custom floor shift for a automatic tranny.Any thoughts on type, style, and or vendors are more than welcome
I had thought of puting it on the colume but that is so ordinary!

B&M makes a Z gate. Which has a lot of chrome, and is black in color. They also make many other types of floor shifters that get a little bit more fancy, like indicator lights etc.

    I used a B&M shifter in my 62' Cadillac M&M 3 way Hearse...Never had a problem! "SKULL"

dude, i got a 63' which originally had 3 on the tree but now it has a B&M shifter on the floor which hooks to the turbo 350. it works great but the gear shift lever is short so you would have to reach and bend down to shift which kinda sucks. but it looks good in a hot rod sense. later,
