    Hello all -
I am hopefully nearing the end of my restoration project. I am 1200 miles away from the project and only get to visit it from time to time. I just know that there are some parts that are often overlooked at this stage and I was hoping to learn from you that have been there already to give me some idea of parts that you had to go back and order, just because they were overlooked/missing/needed replaced. I figured that for a truck this old, there were some metal parts that were completely rusted away or rubber parts that had disintegrated long before i arrived and i would rather not realize they are missing by hearing the squeaks or feeling leaks! I am sure everyone's situation may be different, but i welcome all comments/suggestions on what you had to order your last few times after you thought you were done, or even since. Thanks!

The FUN, dont let it become a drudge, had a bad day yesterday tearing down two carter carbs that someone had been at with a mexican speed wrench (hammer) and an irish screwdriver (chisel) 4hours hard slog to get one dismantled. brass jets.....oh lord what a mare.

Then i came on here and saw Zigs batmobile paint scheme an it cheered me right up.

    Thanx Zig;)
