I have stock rims with 670-15 Bias 4 ply tires on my 59 ......looking to add radial tires.....tried 225-70-15....but they hit on the driver side steering linkage.....What do i do ?...Would like to keep my factory rims..

They should clear by 1/8" ~ 1/4" , are you -sure_ those are factory rims ? .

I ran LT215/75R15's , they're out there but getting hard to find .

Slightly narrower profile , still nice and tall so they look like bias play tires but are safer , last longer , blah blah blah .
