My 55' 235 motor has a 1/2" threaded hole for a water temp sender. Does anyone know a source for these. FLAPS doesn't have em'!

You may have to go with an adaptor bushing. I used one on my electric fan switch.

Weatherhead makes a bushing for this , as they have rather cryptic part numbers , I have no idea what to tell you to ask for , it is supposed to be in every mechanical temp. gauge's box but they get robbed right quick .
