I want some new rear fenders since I can't find good used ones. Who sells the best. Fit well and just bolt them on. Fiberglass or steel.

I bought one of the fiberglass ones on ebay and it was junk as far as I was concerned. The was cheap, but it required a lot of work to get it to fit. Also, the body lines wouldn't line up. I don't mind working something to make it fit but I'd like a fighting chance. I ended up returning it and the guy gave me my money back, less a restock fee, and I did have to cover the return shipping fee. Not a good experience. I did find a repop metal one at a swap meet paid about 220. for it and was real happy. Take it for what's it worth!!

Truck Shop is the retail side of Counterpart. I have seen their repro fenders and they look good. I haven't used one yet.

Also look at our sponcers list of parts. They are from the same place as the truck shop.

Counterpart makes most of the repro parts, truck shop is their retail side. They sell to the other dealers, such as our host.

I bought my 2.5 inch wider rear fenders from Superior Glass Works.

    www.superiorglassworks.com

They offer steel parts for 47-53 Chevys also.

My glass fenders and running boards are AWESOME!

    Hi,
    awesome good or bad?
I prever steel parts, you can repair them if have a dent and they fit most better than fiberglass.

Awesome good of course. I usually spend most of my money at the sponsers store but I had a special need and found the wider rear glass fenders on a featured truck in classic truck magazine.
