window channel

    hey guys-
    i am having problems fitting the window run channel in the 51. i bought it from our sponser and can't get it to bend around the curve neatly. it bunches up bad, not sure if i need to cut it or not. any sugestions?

    Start at the front (vent window) DON"T glue this part yet...you will need to move it to insert the vent window. put the rest of the channel into the door. When you come to the curve push into the channel...DON"T pull and stretch it. I use the glass (if it is in the truck) or a small piece of plywood the same width of the glass to help press in and keep shape. You will always have to do a little hand messaging to get all the puckers out. Now glue the rest down the verticle run nd roll up the window and let sit.

    Joe, check out the thread "free tool" by Coilover that Larry's 48 just revived. That shows it all.
