I ordered a set of window regulator rollers for my 56 Chevy PU, the old ones are factory installed and will need to be drilled out.The new ones go into the hole and have an open tube like end on it. Question is:How do I crimp or press down the end to seal it on? No tool is listed. Anyone have a short-cut on how to seal the open end down, or what to use??

I am in the exact same spot. I bought a rivet tool from our sponsor to do rivets in the vent frames and I am going to try that on the regulator rollers. I'll let you know how it works or does not work.

    lwin517,

I just ground the old ones out and punched 'em out. I put the new ones in this evening. I used the rivet tool and it seems to have worked although when I got done there doesn't seem to be much of a cap on the side where I used the rivet tool. But it seems to be on very firm.
