I know the easiest way to repair/replace a window regulator is to buy a new one. However, isn't there a source for or a way to replace the pot metal post that the crank attaches to. Call me cheap or creative.

    Thanks,

    :) howziit Grumps!

    i'm like you.

WHY SHOULD I BUY/REPLACE? all my regulators work PERFECTLY...it's just that their setscrew holes are mangled, the handles wobble a little, and the passenger door handle keeps falling off once a week.

maybe if we change the setscrews to SS bolts and REALLY crank 'em in...maybe that'll work for you AND me!}> }> }>
