I had bought the generator harness from our host for my '50 but since it will be sometime before I get that far on it I wanted to use the harness on my '47 that has 12 volt and an altenator. Is it possible to use the same harness and if so what modifications would be needed? I already have the reducer for the fuel guage. Just looking to save some money in these recession days. They also sell an alternator conversion harness but at $25 I think you could probably make one cheaper. It is item number 52-891 someone here should be able to tell you how to hook it up to your exiating harness.
