Wiring spark plugs to Distributer

    I need some help on the wiring of my 55 3/4 ton chevy truck.I am replacing the plug wires and I believe they somehow got installed incorrect. Does anyone know the order they go to the distributer. The easiest explanation would help as I am not much of a Mechanic. It is a 6 cyl. Thanks Mike G. gafcob2002@aol.com

    The firing order for the 1/2 ton six is 153624. I would assume it is the same. When was the last time you changed the points. If it is running poorly, you may just need a tune up.
