mf My truck only starts when you attatch a wire from the postive post of the battery to the horn relay switch.
What???!!?!?!? Is your nuetral safety switch good? It's located on the end of the steeing colum inside the cab. Make a jumper with a small piece of wire and a female spade connector on each end. Install it in the two left side female terminals. This will get you by until you replace the switch. If you do this it will start in drive revese or what ever gear your in.

There is supposed to be a wire in the position you described. Check the wiring diagram in the back of the Service Manual. The wire from the battery to the horn relay is where everything inside the cab gets power. It is also where the alternator sends power back to the battery. good luck
