wont start

    our 74 Suburban wont start when it gets wet. it always dose this if rains I whent out and popped the hood and the only thing that was wet was the battery if I try to start it it'll just grind sometimes it trys to fire up it almost sound like its flooded I tried to clear it but it still wont start it ran just fine before it rained.Karl

    I would check the distributor cap it might be cracked. Next time it doesn't start take the cap lose and spray some WD-40 in the cap. It doesn't matter how much WD-40 is in there it will still start. But you need to spray allot so as to get ride of any moisture that may be in there.
